dear norma

Suddenly, there you were...and you brought a tear to my eye. I can't deny. I didn't know you from adam (nor eve), and yet you were providing me with an unexpected lifeline to the rest of the world. For nearly two years, I have searched and traveled (in my 540sq ft abode), and while I have not ventured far, the bitter and recurring (and yes constant) discovery of defeat was no less painful. That is why today, when I saw your name in a cheerful pop-up bubble, I hollered a tiny bit. Possibly, I jumped up and down with glee. Because you, dear norma, have an unprotected wireless connection quite close to my mini cottage, and I can pick up two bars of connectivity. I don't know you, but I adore you. Thank you, my friend, for your lack of password prowess.
