There was a second solicitation in the mail today from an SC insurance company, attempting to scare me into purchasing some mortgage protection accidental death coverage from them. It wasn't really a cheerful letter (as you can imagine) and had an ominous opening that highlighted 2008 Injury Facts re: fatal accidents. Here is the worst line: "Since we last wrote you, over 9,000 families have lost a loved one due to a fatal accident."

Thanks, unnamed company with bad form letter writers, but I'm already covered.
